I am delighted to announce I will be one of the features with the Rivertown Poets on December 1st.

Monday, December 1, 2014
6:30 p.m.
Aqus Cafe
189 H Street

Petaluma

I will be reading with Rebecca Foust, who has an impressive background:

Rebecca Foust is the 2014 Dartmouth Poet in Residence at the Frost Place. Her books include All That Gorgeous Pitiless Song, (2008 Many Mountains Moving Book Prize) and God, Seed (2010 Foreword Book of the Year Award), and two chapbooks that received the Robert Phillips Prizes in 2008 and 2009. Foust received an MFA from Warren Wilson College in 2010. Recent poems are in Hudson Review, Massachusetts Review, Sewanee Review, Southern Indiana Review, Zyzzyva, and elsewhere. Rebecca’s fiction, essays and book reviews appear in American Book Review, Chautauqua, Rumpus, Poetry Flash, Tikkun and other journals.

Rivertown Poets was designed to unite seasoned poets and amateurs in the spirit of mutual enjoyment and celebration of the spoken word. Listeners are invited to attend the free event and bring a poem or two to share during the open mic. Open mic signups begin at 6:30. The series continues on the first Monday of each month at 6:40 p.m. The café is open for food and beverages. https://www.facebook.com/RivertownPoetsAMuseingMondays
