shake your cherry filled branches
and drop those ripe dots
straight to the ground

let them fall right out
lighting the ground
with cherry thoughts

leave your arms naked and light
extending only with the truth
of your nothingness
to your somethingness

cherries jubilee melting into the earth
composting into your soil
nourishing your roots

you stand liberated of those stoned ellipses
on your bold and solid trunk
your body extending
into mother earth

shaking loose the cherry bombs
freeing your mind
harvesting those thoughts

you are clean and baptized now
to stand free of the thoughts
that rot
when they stay on the vine too long
