An omen for the last day of an era? I have been invited to participate in the Blog of the Year Award as a recipient of a one-star award toward Blog of the Year Award.
I see this as an opportunity to tout a few other bloggers as well as to hopefully pick up a few more readers!
Thank you to author and fellow blogger Audrey Kalman for tagging me with this award. That means a lot coming from you, Audrey!
Below are a few blogs I find worthy to pass this Award on to…
I think Charles Bukowski has been reborn in Brice Maiurro. This young man writes poetry with the eyes of a very old soul. What a craftful poet, I dig everything this guy writes, you must check him out: http://flashlightcityblues.com/
Now to go in the OPPOSITE direction, not poetry, but hilarious reflections on life…you must check out http://lifeintheboomerlane.wordpress.com/. If you want to laugh about, well, everything (no reverence) you must read Life in the Boomer Lane.
Author Audrey Kalman blogs about the craft of writing with thoughtful paintbrushes of words. Her blog includes lots of resources for writers too. Read her novel Dance of Souls. Her writing is personal, dreamy yet so real…what a beautiful writer she is, I hope you will check her out.
Don’t miss Sarah Curtiss’ blog GraceArtGroup.com featuring San Francisco artists Sarah Curtiss and William Solis plus her many art books and more!
Ray Ferrer’s art speaks for itself…wait till you see: http://urbanwallart.wordpress.com/
Witty reparte on the world of food…this woman can write! http://culinarypromiscuity.com/
